Mini Pizzas
Ok everyone, I know Pizza can be considered VERY bad for you. However, I have here are recipe for a low calorie and totally delicious pizza alternative.
You will need the following:
1 Thomas English Muffin (either regular or the Better Alternative)
1/8 c of Hunt Spaghetti Sauce
1/8 c of Kraft Non-Fat Shredded Mozzerella Cheese
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Cut Muffin in half, as normal.
3. Smear the sauce on muffin and top with cheese.
4. Place in oven and cook for about 10 min or until cheese is just starting to brown.
Total calories for this meal (eatting both muffin halves) - less than 150.
I have made these pizzas since I was a kid and never realized how low cal they were. Not only that, but eatting both will fill you up for lunch.
You can add toppings as you like just make sure you add the calories from the toppings.

I have a recipe similar to yours. it is 226 calories. My kiddos love them.
1 (top and bottom) Thin Orroweat multigrain bread.
about 2 Mezzetta roasted red bell peppers
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup raw baby spinach
1/2 roma tomato
1/4 cup 2% Mozzarella cheese
Take about 2 roasted red bell peppers from jar. place in food processor with 1tsp extra virgin olive oil and garlic powder. mix until a paste.
Spread paste on both pieces of bread like a pizza sauce.
Place Spinach on top of sauce
Dice tomato and place on top of spinach
Add cheese on top.
Place under broiler for 4 minutes.0 -
Love these! We used to put all the toppings in a bowl and let the kids top theirs as they wanted. You can also use tortillas for the crust. Just adds about 40 more calories. And I love to put turkey pepperoni on too. So much less calories than regular and yummy!0

I almost had the same thing today except I used pizza sauce and a piece of Provolone cheese (70 calories). It was so good and filled my urge to get real pizza.0
