I've always had a slight problem with my weight - I always seem to carry 10 to 30 pounds of extra weight. I lost weight a couple years back, but... it didn't stick for long for several reasons. For the first time in my life, I wasn't ashamed of my body. Gaining the weight back was so hard because I *knew* what I looked like when I was skinny.

Yesterday was the start of my new fitness regimen. And by "fitness regimen", I mean I started walking at the gym again. (3.5 miles, slow speed, up a fairly steep incline - and I'm not feeling any pain today. Woohoo!) I'm also cutting out the donuts and iced lattes for breakfast. After a couple weeks, I'll adjust my diet more and include some weight training into my time at the gym...

Although I'd love to look great for the summer - not gonna happen because I'm starting way too late - the main goal here is to drop some pounds so I don't suffer so much when it gets hot.
