Eat right for your blood type???

Just signed up here to post on this thread... the blood type diet is amazing IMHO. I'v read the "eat right for your type" book and been eatin more less like is recommended in said book, for about 5-8 years. I lost about 15-20 lbs. (not tryin or even wanting to), have felt physically AND mentally sharper, perform better and just all around, am better.
For those whom are spiting venom on here about it... well, your probably over weight and bitter about any diet b/c you like to think there's no way it could be "that easy" (simply knowin what is good, bad and what is needed for your body). You’d probably like it more if it wasn’t about self-discipline and more about the lack of knowledge ( I’v found the un-disciplined love to act “innocent” about knowledge)
Though i could be wrong (about how i feel) b/c someone smart hasn't done a study on it confirming my results... Please help me FDA !!! (the ones that claim responsibility for the most overweight population, that has ever been recorded in history)
For those who want better lives, look into it. For those that like proving someone wrong more then their own health, go ask the FDA (they'v approved thousands of drugs for you to consume )
The reason why I'm 'spitting venom' on here about it is because this particular blood group diet has NO scientific evidence. Firstly, the blood group diet doesn't make any physiological sense. Let me explain: your blood type is dictated by two genes (one from your mother and one from your father). Genes make proteins, which sit on the surface of your blood cells. The reason why we care about the blood type is because your immune system attacks blood cells (such as those from transfusions) which don't have your personal set of proteins on them. We only care about them because they cause problems for donating blood. No scientific evidence has been produced which shows that they alter the way in which glucose, fats and proteins are metabolised by tissues such as the liver and muscle.
OK. That's the first point, and in my argument it IS the weakest point. We may have not found a link yet, it is the point which can be disproved at the drop of a hat if the right evidence comes along. However, understand that when people start a new treatment, or go to their doctor, or start a new type of diet which should alter their focus/happiness etc., there is an effect called the 'placebo effect', this is where your expectations of what will happen affect your emotions, outcomes or even physiological state of your body. In short: the blood type diet works for you because you want it to work. Surgical operations have been carried out under the placebo effect, it is that powerful.
What needs to be done - before we blindly follow anyone who makes up fad diets for the purposes of selling books or getting famous - is some scientific experiments to try and disprove the theory in question. It's really simple: I could go away today, mail-order a PhD so I can call myself a doctor, decide to tell the world that - for example - the distance between your eyes is directly proportional to the volume of carbohydrate you should eat - dress it up so it's really convincing, and sell my book on the idea. Then people will come back to me telling me it worked, as a direct result of the placebo effect.
I'm not overweight. I'm really happy to know what is good (healthy nutritious foods) and bad (saturated fat, fast food, lots of cake) and what is needed (carbs, fat, protein, water, vitamins, minerals, fibre) for my body. I really like the fact that it's about self-discipline and that I am fully knowledgeable on how to feed my body healthily.
FINALLY, I'm really glad the FDA have approved thousands of drugs for me to consume. They've kept a lot of my friends alive when otherwise they'd die of leukaemia or diabetes.
