Hi, I'm 26 y/o guy. I was 178 lbs in September 2010 when I started using MFP and I'm now 145 lbs. 150 lbs was actually my goal weight, but I've found it hard to go over/change my calorie count without increasing my fat intake. My goal now is to gain back 10 lbs in muscle. I'm training right now for an 8K in May and after that will start using the P90x workout. What complicates things is that I had shoulder surgery in November and I'm still going through physical therapy for that. Actually for a two month period I lost weight on diet alone, not as much as with exercise but still a sizable amount. I went from a pant size 34 to a size 30. I've tried my best to live a healthier life. I love the high I get from working out. I find that you only get one body and you need to take care of it.

Great job! It is always good to hear that people lost weight and are keeping it off. Injuries do suck if your trying to gain muscle or work out at all for that matter. I would just alternate days doing your upper body and incorporating more on building your legs until your shoulder gets stronger. Lifting weight (the right way) will actually make the tissue around the shoulder stronger and you can start lifting the really heavy weight later. Anyway not that you needed any advice I was just extending it out there in case you needed it :). Keep up the good work and once again great job!

10lbs of lean muscle can be a challenge but that is what makes it so fun

Your fat intake SHOULD increase. When you change your profile to maintain, it would add more fat. Eat it..
