I just found this site today--I was looking for new calorie-counting apps and stumbled across this.
So far so good...
I've been a Fatsecret.com user for the past 6 months, but haven't been too pleased with their phone app. I love the community there, but was hoping to find new friends on this site.
I've lost 20 lbs so far, and am basically just in maintenance mode right now.
Anybody else out there just looking to maintain?
Feel free to add me!

Thank you!!!
It took me 5 months to get to my goal weight--I figured the slower the lbs came off, the slower they'd come back (that is, if I let them--which I definitely don't plan on doing!)
I've been maintaining for only a month now. To maintain, i upped my caloric intake by 100 calories/day. I still continue to weigh myself daily, and enter ALL of my food/beverages into my food journal before I consume anything (to prevent me from going overboard). I don't like to waste my calories on beverages though, unless it's a special occasion (ahem...boozey occasion). I allow myself 2 "cheat days" a week where I don't mind if I go over my RDI, but I still continue to log all my food, just to keep an eye on what I'm putting into my body.
The past couple months, I switched to eating whole foods/organic foods whenever I get the chance. Reading the ingredients on packaging and finding out how many chemicals I was putting in my mouth really grossed me out. If you haven't seen it already, watch the movie Food Inc.--it will definitely change your perspective on food! And, if you're a fast-food junkie, check out the movie Fast Food Nation--I haven't been able to even THINK about eating at a McDonalds since watching it! By switching to *cleaner eating*, I've noticed an overall difference in my appearance and attitude, and so has everyone else around me! My skin is clearer, I have more energy, and I'm less cranky. The switch also helped break my plateau and I dropped my final 4 lbs.0
