Size 14!

For the past few years, maybe more, I have been hovering between a size 16 or 18, depending on the brand and style. My legs are small, so whatever fits me in the waist is normally baggy everywhere else. Even though I am about 5'6 I buy my shorts in the petite section because they fit better(not daisy dukes). Can't do that with jeans though, highwaters are not stylish.
My jeans have been bit baggy, but I was sure I hadn't really lost any weight, because they never did seem to fit right, and I don't have a scale. Plus, my jeans that were too snug, are still too snug.

But I went to a consignment shop today, and tried on 14's for the heck of it, and they fit! All over, not just the waist. I even bought one pair that were a bit snug, because I am sure they will fit eventually.

This is my situation exactly! Except I'm 5'3. I wear size 16 or 18 depending on the brand. And it's because of my waist/hips! So therefore everytime I buy jeans they are always baggy in the butt and legs. Ugh! I ordered Turbo Fire last night and I'm ready to lose a lot of inches to hopefully fix that problem. Great job on your progress!
  • hhhh 14 -- that's a significant milestone because you can shop in the non plus size stores. Good for you !

Thanks. Well, there are plenty of stores that I probably can't shop at. The 14's in some stores would probably be too small. But the important stores are all that count. Like Kohls, Sears, JCPenny, TJMaxx.

Lane Bryant starts at 14. And I think I am still a 16 in a top. I look foward to the day when everything in Lane Bryant is too big for me. For now though, I need to get in there for some decent bras.

Have any of you noticed that the clothes in the plus section at TJMaxx are horrendous?! They look like curtains, or tents. Or they are full of bling. I am 35, not 15, not 65, I want stylish clothes.
