Healthy Eating

I am struggling to maintain my calorie intake goal, but my problem is that I am not eating enough. I have a super busy life and am normally out of the house by 7:00AM and back by about 8:30PM. I pack my lunch everyday because I am trying to avoid all the "bad" foods. I know I need to add more to about every meal, but my issue is finding foods that will up my caloric intake, while being healthy at the same time. The struggle is mainly because I go to the gym often and if I don't eat enough I can feel the effects at the gym and overall. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to deprive my body of calories, but I don't want to eat empty calories just to get my number up either.

I like the Fiber One bars, since they are convenient and provide fiber.

If you enjoy nuts or nut butters, that's a healthy option. Can sprinkle a handful of nuts on top of your salad, eat a handful as a snack, etc.

I too love the Fiber One bars but unfortunately they give me stomach problems! :( Today I made a sandwich with peanut butter and bananas, very filling and all are higher calorie, healthier foods. Yogurt is also good for filling up a few calories.

You could also try bringing tins of tuna; you can get them in flavoured cans so they taste delicious, are really portable, and healthy. They're about 100-150 calories each, but they're easy to grab.
