I weighed 283 when I joined MFP ... 6 months before I was 303 and lost about 20 within a couple months and just basically hung out there for a few months until finding this site.

So should I go back and alter my beginning weight to 303? Or leave it as it was when I actually joined the site.

I have same question. How do you change it?
  • I changed mine to my highest weight. It makes me feel even better about myself :)

Do a weigh in with the original weight with a prior date then do your current weight with the current date. The weight loss will show on you ticker. It worked for me :-)
  • When i joined, i had already lost some weight too. But I put my highest weight. I had gained a little bit, so its nice to see that im still not as big as i was even after gaining a few back. :-) It doesnt hurt anything! :-)

Thanks everyone ... I went ahead and did this.

If you would like to, here's what I found as the quickest way:

Go to "Weigh-In" from main page.
Then click on "Edit previous entries" below weight/measurement fields.
At the bottom of the next page are some fields where you can enter any weight and any date manually. I have to admit it's nice to see the TOTAL progress over the past 7 months now.
