If everyday were like today, I'd stay the same weight?

So when I get done logging all my calories for the day, it tells me I'd weigh about 10 pounds less than I do now in 5 weeks- even if I'm a bit over sometimes. But I've only lost about a pound this last month. I'm super confused and wondering if I need to lower my calories even more? And does me exercising six times a week effect anything?

  • I don't ever pay any attention to that little "If every day were like today...." thing. Just do the best you can, and the weight WILL come off.

Make sure you are hitting the goal that MFP sets for you in your "net" calories, not just the ones you eat. Even though it wont tell you, if you eat 1200 calories, but then burn half of that, you're still getting too few.

Try that out for a bit, and see if it helps =)

yeah, you gotta remember this thing is still a computer. Computers won't account for how your body will act as an individual. There will be plateaus, adjustment periods, weird days where you suddenly gain a couple of pounds over night and then lose it the next day... and also times when your scale wont budge even if your doing all the right things. Get yourself a measuring tape, and measure your body regularly. If you find that the measurements are going down but the scale isn't then your replacing your fat loss with muscle loss.

If you aren't losing... try upping your calories a bit. I stayed at 1200 for sooo long. I just wasnt losing so I started eating some more and it was just that my bmr was higher than I thought. Try it for a week and if you still don't see results, talk to your doctor because it might be your thyroid... and they will have better idea's for you!
