Do you ever change your inputs?

I'm torn on whether I should change my ticker or not. I started in June 2010 at 207 and i'm now down to 160. I went hard core for 6 months and took a break this past January and February. I lost 47 pounds, gained some and am back down. Should I start my ticker over again or leave it be and make it look awesome?

Leave it! If you've lost that weight and you're going again, I think you deserve to keep it. You fell off the wagon, it's not big deal, it happens to everybody.0

I have two tickers, one for this years losses..and one that give my overall losses & target....0

My opinion - you should keep it. I've taken breaks too and I think we're all bound to, but in the end it's really about your WHOLE journey. If you keep it, you'll always remember and be inspired by where you started!0

I quit using my ticker...It made it seem like I was in a competition. I do record my weight in my own records on a weekly bases so I can see what's going on. I never liked the public display because it can make some people feel like they are doing something "wrong..." and make some people think they are "gurus." As well as some people have wt loss surgery, using drugs...that gives them a different perspective compared to someone who is losing wt via diet and exercise alone.
How can you "take a break from Wellness/Good Health." I believe in calling it what it is, back sliding, or messin' up or failure to launch... Don't fool yourself, NO ONE STOPS eating Healthy unless they are nuts...even if a person is ill, that's when one SHOULD eat Healthy. Be honest that's the way to move forward, correct mistakes, learn and grow.0 -

It was SO DEFINITELY NOT backsliding, messing up or a failing. I was burnt out on doing it. I was doing it for 6 months straight and I took a break. I did not watch what I ate (unless I started gaining a little) and did keep on exercising. I'm still not counting calories, but i'm staying on here to record my weights officially for myself I forget to do it on my calendar. I have lost the 6 i gained in those two months in this past month. Since I lost the 6, I must be doing something right. I think I gave myself some good enough habits so that I dont' have to worry about counting and worrying about doing that.0
