I've lost 20-25 lb since the beginning of the year, which is ALOT of weight for a 5'2" frame. When I reached the 20 pound mark, I thought for sure EVERYBODY would be able to tell. NOPE. Not one person could tell. This was maybe 2-3 weeks ago. This past friday, I lost another 1/2 pound (which I never log unless the scale stays at that weight for a few days), totaling 22 pounds on MFP (and probably a grando total of 25 pounds.) The 1/2 pound I lost makes my weight loss a TOTAL OF ONE POUND LOST SINCE MARCH 15th. So, it's obvious to see that I'm going to have to begin switching things up a bit here soon - but that's for a different post. Now here is my question. I have stayed at pretty much the same weight (or within 5 pounds of that weight for the last month to month and a half, okay?
WHY NOW are people noticing? I got several comments Friday. It's like my pounds lost on the scale remain pretty constant. But I feel like my clothers are getting looser and looser all of a sudden. I would like to say it's the weight training, but I've done VERY little of it. Mostly cardio to speed the rate of loss.
Is it possible for yor body to take a weight loss break for your actually body size to catch up? Does this make sense?

It can seem that way yes. Also people you see every day or on a fairly frequent basis don't really LOOK at you. They see you, hear you, know you are there, but don't LOOK at you.0

I've actually had this happen several times. I will lose a decent amount of weight and then nothing for a while. When I'm not losing though, my body is toning up so I look like I have lost weight, when I actually haven't. Maybe your body is toning up right now and that's why it is so noticeable to people.0

I think that after your body gets over the initial shock of losing so much weight, it needs time to catch up, although I am not 100% sure. You are still losing inches though as your body tones up which would explain why your clothes are fitting differently and why people are starting to notice.
Keep up the good work!!!!0
