do over!

From starting a new to job to having several issues with my dog I have become so frustrated that I haven’t been working out or eating right. I used to work out 2 hours a day and when I wasn’t able to do that anymore I gave up. But shorter work outs every other day will be better than nothing. And being short on time has nothing to do with my eating habits. So I’m getting back on track. Today will be another errand day, but tomorrow I will work out after work for at least 45 minutes. I really don’t like working out in the evening because they gym is so packed. But until I’m out of training at work I have to start at 8 instead of 8:30 which with travel time to and from the gym and then to work I can’t manage it in the morning. I’m meeting with a specialist on Tuesday after work to discuss the 3 rd surgery for Gus. My frustration level has been through the roof! But I’ve got to find time to take care of myself. Starting next weekend I will work out sat and sun mornings. Then mon, wed, fri evenings. And I’m going to focus on eating well again. I need to remind myself how good I felt all the time when I was working out and eating better to motivate me on the days I’m just too exhausted. Thank you to all of my MFP friends for checking in on me and encouraging me. You guys are so great and while it might be a slow comeback, I’m doing it! Keep keeping on me!

Progress not prefection is the key. Im sure anything you hv done over da past few weeks is still better than what u were doing before u started MFP. We started this journey around the same time and I am here to help you through as you were for me in my time of need. I hv no doubt that will b able to get back on track. The best thing about falling is being able to get back up. I hope everything works out for ur dog.0

I know that feeling. I fractured my ankle (as you may have read) and i havent been able to exercise at all... wont be able to still for a few weeks at least. Its sooo frustrating and it means i havent been eating properly as i cant stand on it for to long, so its quick easy meals atm. Im so dissapointed in myself but im making a concious decision to log on everyday and log my foods. We can do it together. the outcome will be amazing... we'll make sure of it

I am so happy and proud of you!! Welcome back. Don't forget... YOU DESERVE THIS!! Being healthy makes a lot of difference in being happy. I hope they were able help you pup get back on track. I will be out of town on a business trip all week but hope to check in, in the evenings and that I do a good job with eating. I will be thinking about you! Glad you are back. I am on the same kind of path... I have to work out in the evenings too and I am proof that it can work! Talk to you soon!!0

I fell off the wagon as well since my Mother in law came to visit. No excuse, but I just haven't had the forward momentum needed. With that said...I'm starting again. So here we go again! The most important part is you haven't thrown in the towel.0
