NSV down a size

I wore a size 18 jeans to a cookout yesterday (down from size 28). I vividly remember buying my first size 18 jeans on my way UP the scale....it was at the end of my first year of college. So happy to be going back down again!!
Only problem is my size 18 dress pants that I've been trying to get into are now so huge everywhere except the waist. by the time they fit my waist they will be too big to wear everywhere else. Being an apple sucks!

I sew a little and 'm thinking about moving the button over an inch. That is all it would take for them to be comfortable. Somehow in my warped mind that seems like "cheating". I need to go shoppign and see how other size 18's fit. I hope I won't be in them long anyway

Funny how getting into size 18's was devistating when I first got there and 20 years later it is thrilling lol
