I'm a 51 yr old woman who has been unhappy with my weight forever, it seems. I have 2 kids, the youngest is almost 16. About 1 yr after I had him, I did the Phen/Fen thing. I lost 40 lbs in 6 months & I looked and felt great. Why I let myself gain the weight back again, I don't know. It just sneaks up on you, ya know? I've never liked to exercise. It's too much work. I know I need to, but I live in a rainy climate, so it's my excuse to not go walking. I know, I could go to the mall. So, I'm posting with the hopes that I can get some cheering on or motivation of some sort. Thanks for listening!

I understand what you mean. I got up to 216 pounds while I was pregnant and I lost 30 pounds a week after birth. Somehow I got back to 200. Now I'm at 195.2 It's really easy to gain it back. It's hard to stay focused on diets and working out when you have kids. I have been trying the walk at home dvds. They are really easy. You don't even realize you are walking a mile because it's fun. You can walk a mile in about 15 minutes. It's by Leslie Sansone (: Good luck on your journey! Feel free to add me if you like! YOU CAN DO IT!
  • I am an devout couch potato, I sit on the weekends, I sit at work and I sit at home after work...One of my favorite pasttimes you could say...along with eating of course. But since I got up off the couch and actually started moving my big *kitten* at the gym, I feel great. Its true what the say, the endorphins that come out while exercising is fantastic, I am happy and laugh more and I like myself so much more. It just takes once to see how good you feel.. Good Luck
