Is anyone reading or has anyone read "Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan?! Amazing read, and totally changes the way I see food!

  • I've read it. I love the book. FABULOUS. In Defense of Food by him is good too.

Oh yeah!!! And "Food Rules" is an easy compilation of both mentioned here. It fun to take the rules and pick one out each day for the next day as your personal "challenge." My favorite was always to see how many different colors I could eat in one day (and, no, jelly beans do NOT count!) LOL!!!

    Excellent author!

I listened to them both on audio - in my car. I LOVED "In Defense of Food," - it definitely impacted the way I looked at food - even "organic food." I had a much harder time making it through "Omnivore's Dilemma." I felt like I overdosed on corn information - I almost didn't make it through to the next part. And after all of that, the only takeaway I have of the corn section is that corn is in everything!
  • Also a good book: Fast Food Nation.

On my list. We just recently streamed "Tapped" via Netflix. Good stuff.
