Question about goals???

I was just wondering how many of you actually meet your weekly weight loss goals. For example if when you were signing up you said you wanted to lose 2lbs per week and stick to the calories and exercise do you actually lose 2lbs a week or not.
I ask because I'm kind of a math nerd and like to think about this in terms of calories in/calories out. I like to look at the calendar and guess when I'll reach some of my short term goals. So I thought I'd see if that's misleading or pretty accurate.
Thanks for you comments!!!

I was set to lose 2 pounds a week for a while and was not losing, just maintaining. So switched it to 1 pound a week and started losing that 1 pound a week for the last two weeks.0

I have been consistently losing around 1.5 lb a week. But I haven't really been doing very well the past few weeks, so I'm kind of at a standstill (a self-inflicted one, but still a stand-still). If you really stick with it and do the program EXACTLY with no cheat days, etc. you can lose what you want to at the rate you want to. Just make sure that you're not trying to lose too much too fast or your body will rebel against you and you won't lose anything. Or even worse *gasp* gain some weight.0

I have a lot going on. I started this site about 2 weeks ago, and I've been following the site plan fairly well! But I've also upped my exercise with a boot camp, and I'm sure that I'm also developing muscle, which will add weight. I've lost like 1/2 pound over the 2 weeks, but my body is definitely changing. The maintaining is definitely a bummer, but I'm trying to keep my muscle development in consideration and not giving up! Good luck!0

i havent been very discipined the last few weeks but i have lost 4 lbs in 5 weeks even though i havent been exercising much just sticking to my calories. and i was set to lose 2lbs a week. now i have changed it to 1lb a week and im positive i will lose that with more exercise.
so i think it works if you do what you say your gonna do. but just eating the right calories helps maintain weight really well.0
