600gr pack of Extra Lean Ground Chicken.
1 whole egg
2 tbs of any Generic BarBQ sauce
1 tbs of liquid hickory smoke
5 small crackers (or bread crumbs optional)
1 tbs of garlic powder
1 tbs of montreal chicken steak spice
salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients into a bowl. With your hand mix all ingredients. Once mixed, with your hand scoop up the mix (palm size), roll in your hand into a ball, then flatten into a patty. Place on the baking sheet or pan, and bake on 400 F for 15 mins... (or grill optional) Optional near the end, add a drop of barbecue sauce on each patty and broil for a minute.
Should make 12 patties, 2 per serving for roughly 160 calories per serving.
Not time consuming at all. Takes 2 minutes to mix all ingredients, 2 to make into patties and 15 to bake. Total time about 20 minutes, and you have 6 servings worth.
Very easy meal on the go. Place in a weight watcher's whole wheat wrap with some lettuce, tomato and mustard. Total 300 calories. Serve with 1 1/2 cups spring mix salad with balsamic vinager for 350 calories total for lunch or dinner.
