Can someone explain to me how BMR factors into calories in\out. My daily calories is 1240 and my BMR is 1665 calories according to MFP. What does this difference is calories mean and what am I suppose to do with this info?

If you really want to see how your daily intake goal is calculated, go to MY HOME/GOALS and look at the information on the right.0 -
BMR are the calories burned by your body's most basic function. They don't really factor into your cals in/out perse.
What I do is generally set my calorie in take to a range close to my BMR and use it as a baseline of the minimum NET calories I eat. (I am in the healthy BMI category now, when I was not, I did not stick to this but it's a good baseline once stavation mode becomes a more easily fallen into issue)0
