Oh my gosh. I went shopping this past weekend for the first time in forever........ my size 12 work pants from LOFT were getting SUPER baggy, requiring a belt every day, and I was wondering "maybe.... is it possible.... could I really...... is it possible I could fit into an 8???"
So I trucked my now-smaller butt into the LOFT and picked up a selection of 8s and 10s.... and would you believe it...
I FIT INTO THE 8!!!!!!!!!
They weren't flattering, but they actually FIT. Perhaps a bit snug, but certainly not obscene or blood-flow-constricting..... amazing!!! It's been like 8 years since I could put on an 8. And the 8 was a short-lived phase during college, because all through high school I was in sizes 10-16, depending... Can't believe I made it back to the awesomeness of the single digit size!!!!!!
Now, the 8s only fit at LOFT. I tried some at Banana Republic and they really were too small for comfort. I bought some flattering 10s. But hey -- I don't care. I lost two LOFT sizes, and it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Great job! The LOFT is notorious for changing their sizes to make us women feel better about ourselves. But the good news is an 8 at the LOFT is equivalent to a 10 with stretch at Banana Republic or other retailers. You should be very proud of yourself. 0
