I am feeling you on the pooch and I still have a lot of weight to loose. After three kids and a lot of weight gain its terrible. Unless you have lucky genes if its excess skin you cant get rid of this unless a tummy tuck, but you could try one of those ab programs first to see if you can tighten it up at all.0

Only if the "pooch" still has enough elasticity left in it....mine does not, but staying lean in the past and fit certainly made it less noticeable. That was after 2 children, hahahahaha, now after 4, I'm not sure what I'm dealing with. I'm not going to stress over it, so long as I can look and feel good over all. (dont get me wrong, I'd love to have it "taken care of" - but its a small price I'll pay for my children)0

In short, no, you will never get rid of the pooch. You can flatten it out some and lose the fat of course, but the loose skin part of it will never completely go away - especially if you've had stretch marks. Pilates helped me a lot to tighten up and when I'm not pregnant, I've got a nice six pack but my little poochy-poo is still there on the bottom. I've decided that, since it's not going away, I'm going to name it. LOL0

mine has gotten much smaller but it isn't gone yet. I just started INSANITY and a i have seen a few before an after pics of mom's who go rid of it doing that program. thats the best i know though.0

Lay on your back put your feet up 90 degrees and lift you butt off the ground. It has really helped me!0

I have to ask, what is INSANITY????0

I'm hoping to get rid of mine - nothing "deflated" looking here yet and hoping it will stay that way and stay as tight skin as it is now. I would assume (just a guess) that losing slowly would allow it to look better on a flat stomach than to lose weight at a fast pace.0

Yes - it hass been done. Mine, however is rittled with stretchmarks. At my leanest, the "pooch" has gone away, but my tummy is not flat. There's still that saggy skin that cannot be fixed without surgery. My muscles after my 4th baby have been stretched so much that there is a gap in the middle of my tummy - also only repairable with surgery. BUT, if you have good skin and work your core and get to a lean point, your tummy should be relatively flat.0

I did P90X Ab ripper x and run half marathons. That seemed to get the best results for me.0

It's possible! My daughter is 10months old and I do 45-50min of cardio 3 days a week and then weights and pilates 2-3days a week. My stomach is now flat! Though I have only had one kid and did my best to stay fit throughout the pregnancy. (I ran on my elliptical until 2 weeks before I delivered) I plan on doing the same through my next pregnancy but we will see if everything will go back after being stretched out a 2nd time!0

INSANITY is an intense BEACH BODY workout.....extreme.0

Thanks you guys! I will just try my best and hope I am happy with the results. I know many people would argue and say, "you had kids, what do you expect?" But if I can make it better, I will. lol.0
