Hey everyone! I've been with myfitnesspal a while now, and been constantly struggling to get the 10 lbs i gained over the past 2 years, off. I can't seem to get it off! I still think the problem may be not enough calories, so I'm going to try increasing my calories for a couple weeks and see if anything changes.

I know I am rather healthy, (5'3 125 lbs) but it is so frustrating to know that you can't fit into your old clothes anymore. I used to love the way I looked, and now I dont :( I just want to be 115 again! I don't know where I'm failing because I eat healthy and exercise frequently. HELP

  • You could be on to something there with the calorie thing. Increasing calories might just do the trick. How about changing up your exercise routines.

Have you been lifting weights at all, or doing lots of cardio?

for me its been about lots of cardio, and pretty much maxing out my calories every day.

    good luck

the last 10 pounds are really a challenge and there's lots of reasons your body is holding onto those pounds desperately! There are some threads here that I have found really helpful, maybe you will find some new tools to add to your own journey:

I'd suggest you read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/181080-mfp-s-most-common-user-pitfall-to-avoid
You may want to reevaluate your goals and look at WHY you want to be 115 again and if that's really reasonable for you... You are likely to be better of focusing on non-weight related goals: toning, fitness goals (ex. running longer distances or faster, swimming farther... whatever your exercise activities of choice are), and lifting heavier weights.
