I can do this....I really CAN

I have been on a weight loss journey for what seems like forever... Today with the help of MFP and all my MFP friends....and a trainer...I really feel like I can do this. For some reason it all seems to be clicking. I have been thinner than I am now, but I feel stronger emotionally and physically. Is that possible???????

Today I feel like I have begun to chip away at the emotional wall that seems to hold me back at moving forward. For me I went from being able to run 3 minutes to 13...now let me be honest...I am not really moving that fast...but I am doing it!!!!

I will run my second 5K in 34 days and I am blessed to have an amazing trainer who has offered to run with me and hopefully help me to overcome this mental block that tells me I CAN"T DO IT...becasue I CAN.

in 132 days I will be doing my second Triathalon....and I know that I can beat my time from last year...I am going to continue on this jouney and some days I will take it one hr at a time.....but mostly I am trying to just take it one day at a time and make choices that are good for me and my body...

    Triathlons are a very addicting sport. I got involed with them several years ago thinking that only skinny people could do them, but tsoon came to realize that anyone, any size can enjoy the sport. It is all about YOU! Good luck on your upcoming 5k race. I too am doing a triathlon in about 90 days.

    I know you can do this!!!

    You are amazing! I have never run a 5K or any K for that matter, I hate to run! I have never done a triathalon either! I think you have already accomplished so much and you have great goals too! You can do it, you have done it and you can do it better! Good job and take care!

    Well done on your events. This site is fantastic. By now I would have given up and gone back to bad habits. Dont get me wrong I still have naughty snacks but I am eating a lot less and get full up quicker.

    We all can do this :smile:
