Greetings and Salutations All,
I hope that you all are having a abundantly blessed day. I am writing because I would love it if you could write a letter to your younger-self say, when you are 8, 11, 13, 15, or 18 years old. What would you write? What would you say? What wisdom would you impart?
Most of you know that I am involved with a youth organization called Girls In Action. It would be wonderful if you could take time to write a "Letter to Your Younger Self" offering advice on things and situations you wish that you would have known when you were growing up. We are having a GIAgirl Talk session called "Girl Positive: I'm Worth the Wait," April 2nd and we want to share your letters with the GIAgirls.
You can send all letters to nkyeereed@girlsinaction.org. If you would like to remain anonymous follow these email directions.

Thanks so much for your help. Let's help our youth learn that they are "Worth the Wait" and their Dreams and Goals can come true with wisdom and guidance. On behalf of the little girl that you are going to bless I want to say.....THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU! Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think may want to write a letter to their younger selves to share!
Thanks!
FYI: Prospective Writers: You can address the letters as "Dear Teen Me" or "Dear Tween Me" or however you choose. I'm sure this will be enlightening and self-empowering for yourself as well as the GIAgirls. This will help them know that we dealt with the same issues and problems that they are growing through or will go through. Whatever issues (bullying, gangs, teen mom, teen dad, obesity, loneliness, overachiever, depression, runaway, incarceration) we faced, we were able to overcome it or is working on it.
Thanks much
