I would just like to know what MFP slang or language I would need to know..for example what does "bump" mean? I see it on a lot of message boards. Also..NSV?

NSV= non scale victory.
bump, generally used to mark a topic so you can return to it later. You can find topics you've posted to under community ---->My Topics.0 -
bump : pushes that thread back to the top of the forum list. Also puts it under the users "my topics" tab for reference later.
nsv: "non-scale victory. A weight loss success that has nothing to do with actual numbers down (ie,I didn't lose any weight this week,but I can do up my skinny jeans again!)
