Ok, here is my stupid problem. I keep undereating and then at the end of the day, when I look at my calories and fat etc... I need more! So I try to eat something else. This is probably hurting me more than helping me cause I end up eating too close to bed time. I ate tonight and I wasn't even hungry, but I had only had 900 calories today and I had worked off like 400 or 500 of them tonight in my workout. I am very busy the first part of my day and all I ate this morning was a slimfast bar. It seems like I am doing this more and more though. I am afraid that my body will go into starvation mode and I will stop losing weight. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Should I go ahead and eat at night when I realize that I haven't eaten enough or should I just try better tomorrow? I am new to this whole diet thing and I have no idea really.
Thanks,
Leah

I had to teach myself to eat more steadily through the day. AND, I've been eating a nearly 400 calorie breakfast now which really helps. I have 1 packet of organic oatmeal, 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, 1 banana sliced, 1 tbsp hemp hearts and 1 tbsp flax meal. It's all mixed together and SOOO tasty.
You need to think of your nutrition in 3 hour increments rather than 24 hours. Make sure you get enough to eat every 3 hours or so.0 -
I've had the same problem, and lately I've been trying to eat more for breakfast and lunch, and snacking in between, especially when I'm planning on going to the gym. I have read a few posts about late night eating, and it seems that the consensus is it's not going to do you any harm, except maybe for your sleep. I'd just eat something easy to digest, if you can, and try to plan out your calories in the future. Maybe make a mental note of about how many calories you should be eating for each meal and just try to stick to that?0

Maybe...
I am freakish about not having any calories left by the end of the day :ohwell:
so i "save" them all  i really need to plan better or something...0
