It works. Actually.

Okay, I did a little math on my calories over the last week:

Eaten: 3/21-3/27
1812
2116
2210
1751
2221
2370
2158
Total: 14638
Exercise: -4528
Net cals for week: 10110

BMR plus activity is about 2700/day, 18900/week

18900-10110=8790 deficit
8790 divided by 3500 (one pound) = 2.51 pounds

Starting weight: 290.4
End of week: 288
Weight loss: 2.4 pounds

Like a well oiled machine! Way to go on the loss, and the number crunching.

Unfortunately as a general rule, us ladies hang on to fat longer and take more time to lose weight. One of the joys of being female. But, hey! A loss is a loss! I have noticed sometimes I maintain for a week then all of a sudden I'll drop 2 pounds. There is no consistency to my weight loss but as long as the trend is downward, I am OK with it!

Because you're under-eating. Seriously, look at your diary. You need to eat more. The OP followed the plan, and he's had success. If you eat more healthy calories, you'll lose more.

I should clarify, this is after 2 weeks of my weight going up 5 pounds!!!! No it does not work perfectly like this, but for once it did. Haha. Drink your water, keep that sodium down and exercise and the weight will melt off.

@melsinct, we guys hang on to weight too.
