Garmin FR60 with Heart Rate Monitor + Footpod - Womens Black

Hi all

wanting to buy a HRM and i wanted to know whats the best brand to buy?

Also have seen Garmin FR60 with Heart Rate Monitor + Footpod - Womens Black has anyone used this HRM what do you think of it?

That is what I have...I like that it measures my distance run but that I can se it as a general HRM too....one word...it has a tendency...in the winter when my body is physically cold to give me wonnky readings ...like HR of 223 for a few minutes when I first start elevating my HR...I have solved that by putting th darm thing on about 30 minutes before working out to warm it up....I think I need to replace the batteries...

I know there are fancier models etc but this one is pretty good for me.

Great info. Thanks. Any idea of a rough cost? been researching this for what seems like ages and cannot decide which to get - there are so many out there and so much choice is too confusing for me!!

I've had the FR60 for a few weeks now and so far I really like it. The only complaint I have is that the instructions for downloading your workouts to your computer are crap. Now that I have it figured out, I am really happy with it. The upside was that the Garmin customer service was really helpful in getting things running for me.
