Hi everyone!:happy: I have my first 1/2 marathon on April 10......a little less than two weeks. I haven't really been following a training schedule just increasing my long runs. I came up with a training schedule for these last two weeks. From what I have read its good to taper off the last few weeks of training. Can some of you alumni marathoners take a peek and help a rookie out? (ETA I've run 12 miles many times and I am NOT new to running, just to a 1/2 marathon race). I'll start the schedule from this last Sunday and go to the race day. TIA!:flowerforyou:

I think the distances on your last two runs are too high. I would just stick with easy 2 or 3 milers for those days. You taper so you can let your body recover and be strong and healthy for the race. Good luck!0
