123 jude I agree with you with the skinny thing. keep up the good work!
  • That new Mederma lotion recently came out that is suppose to significantly reduce them, I'm thinking of getting and trying it out. I'll be sure to let you know if it works!

After I had baby 2, someone told be about this Chinese remedy for stretch marks. Basically you take a wooden massage tool and massage the stretch marks with vitamin E lotion. The theory behind it is that the stretch mark is dead skin so the massaging helps to restore circulation. So I tried it and it does work BUT, this is the most excruiatingly painful thing I've ever put myself through and if you don't keep doing it, the stretch marks comes back. So I've learned to live with my street map and I wear them proudly. :-)

Lots of things can help get rid of the redness, (Mederma is the most recommended by the 8 dermatologist that I use to work for) but the marks themselves, if left alone, will fade on their own to a silvery white and will be barely noticeable. Just takes time. Sorry no magic.

Thankss s lot everyone!! Im stuck between the mederma and bio oil, lol maybe i will try both :)
  • I read somewhere that Bio oil is bad for you. Maybe do some research........ Tanning helps reduce the appereance but they never go away. I have some from my pregnancy. But you learn to embrace them. :)
