Just joining y'all!

I just joined as a way to keep myself on track. I am not far from my fitness goals, and live a healthy life (just ran my first 10k on Sunday, and was faster than I thought possible!) but am missing a sense of community - in a new town, with no friends yet, besides my wonderful boyfriend.

While he's great, we have different fitness goals - he likes to lift weights and do less cardio, and his ideal diet is different than mine. While we're both super supportive of one another, I need to find like-minded types!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this site can help me maintain and weather those times when I overdo it. I also have a lot of things to share, ways I get myself to the gym and through tough workouts!
