    Well no tuna then...

What about an egg white omlette? Or even 1 whole egg and 1 egg white? I LOVE breakfast foods!!

Cottage cheese and fruit/yogurt and fruit/a granola bar and yogurt. These types of combinations usually work for me.

Tuna fish on crackers is what I have a lot of days...
  • what about a whole wheat rice salad with tuna albacore in water, sliced olives, tomatoes, lettuce, and if you want, a bit of cheese? No dressing needed, sometimes I'd add a tb of olive oil for added flavor.

it's a cold dish, but if it's hot there, it will be filling, have protein and fiber.
BTW you can substitute the rice with quinoa or barley if you wish.

Opps no help from me... haha just noticed the seafood part!
  • A plain Salad with Light dressing (french gives it more flavor and shredded lettuce is best) is very low cal. And strawberries are very low calorie too.

Dempsters' bodywise tortilla wraps - or weight watchers or some other tortilla wrap.

Chicken breast (or to save $$ - chicken thigh) - boneless/skinless. Cook. Dice up.

Toss chicken, onto wrap, hot sauce or other condiment, and whatever veggies you like. Pair with carrot sticks and water.

    simple and easy.

I love just doing a salad with spinach chicken and reduced fat cheese. Quick easy and healthy.
  • My standby is a peanut butter and jam sandwich, with an apple on the side.

It's quick and easy, and if you get calorie friendly bread and peanut butter, not too bad for you.

you can make a lot of different stuff with a whole chicken - I bought two this weekend, gonna cook those suckers up tomorrow and Sat! They were 0.67 a pound here and I bought two. Roast them in the oven on top of potatoes, veggies, etc.... You can shred some of it and make a salad, or chicken tacos.

It may be too hot for soup, but you could boil the carcass and make chicken broth and freeze it - or make chicken noodle soup and freeze it for another day. I do that just in case I get sick and need something to eat with minimal effort.

you can also do a lot with ground turkey (turkey meatballs, turkey burgers, turkey meatloaf...)

    Should I keep going? lol
  • I love the mission wraps(tomato or spinach flavored), with romaine lettuce and I do as was said earlier, chicken breast (cooked and cut up and individually pkged) I like the mini rice cakes with these often because I get 18 for 130 calories, and it is a nice substitue for chips.

Definitely something with protein to keep you feeling full. The salad idea is definitely a great route and provided you have no objection to variety, you can definitely incorporate some filling veggies in the salad.
  • Here is my Pesto Pita Pizza. A whole wheat pita with a tablespoon of Pesto sauce, chopped tomato and crumbled feta. Cooked in the oven for about 10 min or depends how crispy you like this.

sometimes I add a couple slices of chopped up turkey meat or olives. It is SO tastey.

I don't eat seafood either.. blah! This week I'm having homemade chicken salad on a pita! I do put red onions in it and it would not be the same without them. I just mix grilled chuck chicken, light mayo, light oilve oil, a little lemon juice, chopped celery and red onion, pepper and garlic powder to taste. I warm a pita pocket, stuff and add some craisins! I eat it with some carrots usually and that makes for a less then 300 calorie meal.

When they're on sale the Healthy Choice Steamers in the freezer isle are yum! I like chicken marinara the best. At the cheapest they're usually $2.50 each.

When I'm feeling really poor I have a bag of "natural lightly salted" popcorn for lunch. It's less then 200 calories. I fill up on a protein bar or lots of veggies along with it.
