Strength Training schedule? Need Opinions

I am just starting strength training this week. Here is what I am planning on for my workouts. Does this look ok? I am using the Turbo Fire Upper and Lower 20 workouts and using Abs 10 from Turbo Fire And Ab Ripper from P90X. I am really looking to tone and not build large amounts of muscle, I am kind of just getting my feet wet with weights. Is this enough days off and enough work outs per week to see some results?

Monday Core
Tuesday Upper
Wednesday Lower
Thursday Off
Friday Core
Saturday Upper
Sunday Lower
Monday Off
Tuesday Off
Repeat

    I would combine core with a lower or upper day, then you can do a week rotation.

    Like mon-core+ upper
    Tuesday off
    wed- core+lower
    thurs-off
    friday-lower+upper
    Saturday-core.

    or like Monday- upper
    tue-cow+lower +core
    wed-upper
    thursd-lower+core
    friday-upper
    then monday you could do lower and switch them.

    or monday-core+ upper
    wed-core+lower
    fri- total body
