I have been doing beef jerky. It is low fat, high protein and little carbs. It can get expensive buying it so I have been making my own.

i lost 8lbs in 2 weeks last yr, by making myself a bowl of salad, with my dinner! (lettuce, tomato, cucumber and spring onion - no dressing) i ate all the salad, and then my meal! i found i was eating less, filling up on healthy options! and it worked to get my diet started! and have a big glass of water to drink while ur eating also!!!!

carrot and cucmber sticks! or make a big fruit salad and pick on that during the day if ur peckish!

and not sure if ur aware that ur body cant differentiate between hunger and thirst! so if ur feeling hungry - have a glass of water, if ur still hungry 20 mins after that, then u were hungry and not thirsty and then eat something!!!)
  • veggies with hummus yum
  • or fruit with GREEK yogurt

This salad is so filling and low in calories:
    Spinach Leaves
    Pico de Gallo
2 boiled eggs (1 whole and 1 egg white)
    Jalapeno
    Red Kidney Beans
And for dressing I use 2 TBL of Paul Newman's Balsamic Vinaigrette

    Soooo good.
I also like Hummus but I eat it with 40 cal bread slice.
