I would not be sad to see you fall....and shatter.

Just a lil shout out love to all my MFP'ers who were feeling pretty good about themselves today until they looked in the mirror and saw something different then they felt inside. I'm right there with ya, babes.

Why is that? Well, my theory is that most of us, when we look out to others, filter to see the inner beauty first but when it comes to ourselves, our own criticisms are big enough to block our line of sight.

So if you are wearing 'fat goggles' like I am today, let me stand front of the mirror so I can tell you what your reflection really is, and not what big criticisms are showing:

You are beautiful. And you are worth it.

Keep going, friends. We fight our criticisms and insecurities everyday of our lives. That's what make us human. Some days we will win, some days we will lose. But one thing always remains - our true beauty within.

  • That happened to me the other day. I was at my parents and they have this giant mirror wall. I had to look at myself, in my workout clothes, from the side, full length. I seriously felt nauseous but it gave me the motivation to re start this with a new found determination!
