Disapointed in myself

I started in February. I have been doing this for 6 months now. Half a year!! I have only lost 20lbs!! The same 20lbs I had lost in the first 2 months!!! It all comes down to the junk food I eat. I should be down 30lbs at LEAST!! I would almost be at my half way goal if I wasn't so... I don't even know what to call myself! I am extremely disappointed in myself right now :grumble:

True! But its just so disapointing!! I still dont like the fact that I have to eat all my exercise cals. I think maybe thats why those who exercise a lot dont lose as fast!!0

I too am a junk food junkie...food is good. It's too good sometimes. I think my body is trying to keep at this weight that it loves (I don't)
At least you've kept 20 lbs off...I've just lost 1 lb. Hang in there on the wagon. After your done beating yourself up just say ....but...I am a very nice person (Oprah). :flowerforyou:
We can do this...1 day at a time. Starting Today (now I'm gonna take my own advice)0 -
I do have a word to desribe you, HUMAN
January to June 1st I lost 3 pounds. I knew I had to quit making excuses: I am too old. I am injured and cant exercise. I really deserve, want, need that cheeseburger.
Well apparently I can lose weight cuz I am down 13 pounds. But my menu is sooooooooooo different than it was 2 months ago. I was just thinking-wow...I ate all that fruit? I love it, how did i ever live without it!!
I think it comes down to what is more important to you. You are going to give up something-either the food or the little black dress.
Id love to be all encouraging but it seems like sometimes we need to boot ourselves in the butt!
Of course 20 pounds in 5 months is nothing to be discouraged about. If you didnt make the changes you have, you might be 20 pounds heavier, right? SO you are doing something right.
Make a few small changes and youll see, next week you will be hip hip hurray-ing!0 -
