New & Still Learning

I started on MFP 9 days ago & absolutely LOVE it! I'm 29 years old, 5'0" & have 2 kids. Even at my skinniest (wearing a size 6) I still weighed 130lbs. I really need to lose this weight & get back to feeling healthy and having more energy. I am trying to quit SMOKING @ the same time (am I nuts or what?).

MFP told me I should be eating 1200 cal / day. My biggest problem right now, is that because I'm making healthier food choices, I'm able to eat more food than I was before (when I was blindly filling up on junk) - so by the time I hit somewhere between 900-1000 cals, I'm really full! Then, I'm supposed to "eat my exercise calories" which I totally don't understand. I'm afraid if I keep eating I might make myself sick...

Please HELP!! I really want to do this the right way (I haven't had any "real" soda or spaghetti in 9 days - my 2 favorite foods) so I'm willing to do what it takes!!

Thank you so much for anyone's advice!

    Hey and welcome
I dont eat my excersise calories, i wont to loss not gain lol.. Only eat them if your hungry..
If your full let them be.
Be sure to drink lots of water, that will keep you from being hungry all the time.
