question about calories burnt walking

ok here is the question, I go walking for 30 at a pace walking a dog, and it says when i enter an amount.
a friend walks the same distance and the same pace and it is different, how come?

Most likely you and your friend are different weights.
The more you weigh, the more calories you burn with exercise. (this is a simplification, but you get the idea)0 -
