hmmm what am I missing?

I am coming in way under my "maintain weight" calories, but slightly over my "lose weight" calories. But I have gained1.5 pounds in just 2 days. I started a butt workout yesterday but i highly doubt I gained 1.5 pounds of tush tone, so what gives? I'm drinking tons of water. Sodium hasn't changed. TOM just ended, but I am beginning to ovulate and I have a rather sizable ovarian cyst that gets bigger when I ovulate. Could it be that? Last time it was seen in u/s it was softball sized

ovulation could very well be the cause of weight gain, i am no doctor so i can't say for certain. another thing is water gain. In the beginning I was weighing myself every couple of days, and the scale fluxuated from day to day, at times it read 2lbs heavier, and i thought to myself, that cant possibly be right. then i said i'm only going to weigh myself on saturday mornings, before getting in the shower, before eating or drinking anything, and thus far down 9lbs, had doctor confirm that yesterday, so MFP is working..lol!!!! dont sweat it!!!0

it took me 2 days after TOM to loose the extra weight...2 days ago was my last day of TOM, yesterday I was only down 1 pound in about 2 weeks and today im down another 4! and I was only under my cal by a few hundred for the last cpl days and even over a cpl days this past week.0
