Stats on Cascadian Farm high fiber cereal

I just discovered Cascadian Farms cereals and I see they are popular with many MFP users, but I am confused about the nutritional info. A 3/4 cup serving has 190 calories with 2.5 grams of fat, 44 grams of carbohydrates, 9 grams of fiber (less than 1 soluble) and 5 grams of protein. If I multiply the protein and carbs by 4, and the fat by 9, I come up with a calorie count of 218, not 190. I have to watch my calories carefully, because it is hard for me to get in 1200 calories everyday, and I have to watch my ratios because I am carb sensitive. With this disparity, at the end of the day, I might show that I have met my nutrition goals for the day, but not had enough calories. Does anyone know the reason for this disparity? I am thinking it may have to do with the fact that the cereal has a large amount of insoluble fiber that is getting counted in the carbs, but not in the calories, but I have not noticed a discrepancy like this on other labels.
