changing scales / routines makes this more difficult

I have a job that is rotational, so I can't weigh myself in the same clothes, at the same time or place, or on the same scale every day. I'm not giving up my goal, but it's disheartening when you see a 6 pound increase in 36 hours.

Weigh yourself less. Maybe once a week? Personally, I don't know anybody on MFP who weighs in everyday (whilst I know people who probably do hop on the scales every day, they certainly don't record it daily). I myself weigh every week "officially", sometimes longer between weigh ins.0
