Hi,
I have been hearing alot about good and bad fats...Can anyone please elaborate for me??? I hear that certain fats (avacado, chick peas) should be eaten beecause they are good for you even tho they are high in calories.
I am just trying to really educate myself on healthy eating.
Thanks!

Bad fats are saturated fats (animal fat, hydrogenated oils etc) good fats are unsaturated or polyunsaturated fats, like olive oil, fish oil, almonds, nuts, etc. The good ones will help the body get rid of the bad ones.0

I read something that I will try to find again that was a study on moderate animal fat intake being good and an essential part of healthy brain function. I would not cut animal fat out, just limit it.0

Yes limit it but do not eliminate it altogether. Animal fats can be good for you in moderation.0

Thanks for the info!0
