Wednesday's are my day of rest

It is so funny. When I first started my mission to loose weight about 3 weeks ago I told myself I will hit the treadmill as well as walk in the evening with my family 7 day's a week. My fiance insisted I give myself at least 1 day off a week or I could burn out. He also added that your body needs a day to repair itself from the exercise.
The funniest thing started to happen, I am always super motivated I haven't had to drag my butt onto the treadmill yet.......BUT.....I was noticing on Wednesday's I didn't feel like working out and that I found myself a bit more tired than other day's.
So I am here to declare that my fiance was right and I am not a machine....LOL. MY body does infact require a day of rest.
Also I have been a bit discouraged this week. My weight isnt really going down just yo yoing around. I had a great first 2 weeks with a weight loss of 12 lbs. I did weigh myself this morning and I am down 1 lb. This is still a loss and although I secretly wish it was a whole lot more I am going to celebrate that 1lb. all the same.
Does anyone have any suggestions I think I might be hitting my first platue.

Your body is probably just catching up. 12 pounds in two weeks is a lot. From my experience I'd say you'll continue to lose, just at a slower pace. Great job so far!0

I totally agree, usually if you have a week with a large number lost your next few weeks are usually smaller numbers. At any rate fast or slow we are all working towards our goals together. Thank-you for your reply and support. I'm off to the park with my three kids.....taking total advantage of not having any daycare kids this week!0
