I have lost all of my pregnancy weight and am within the healthy weight range for my height but I'm totally pear shaped. My legs have always been big but they were lean and muscular. Now, I'm back to the same weight but they sure don't look like they used to....somewhere along the way I lost my good looking legs and I can't seem to get them back. I've decided to try and lose about 5 more pounds and have been working out 5-6 days a week with a rotation of the 30 Day Shred, Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, and No More Trouble Zones (yeah, I'm a Jillian fan) for several months now. I'm really enjoying the home workouts because I'm so pressed for time between work and taking care of my son but I'm going to have to break down and renew my gym membership. Before having my son, I worked out all of the time but I had always been in great shape so I'm kind of in unfamiliar territory. Other than losing weight and incorporating a few weight training sessions a week into my routine, does anyone have any tips of how to get my legs lean again. I'm not really bothered by having big legs, just big flabby legs. Anyone know any awesome home workout dvds that target lower body only that I can add in?

Just like you're a Jillian fan, I'm a big Chalene Johnson fan!! Her ChaLEAN Extreme program helped me out a ton with really toning my legs (and arms, and abs). While my muscles are still kinda hiding under the flab, they're definitely there - and I'm super psyched about it!!

Heck - a friend of mine had lost the weight she wanted then decided to try the same program... and she lost an ADDITIONAL 10 pounds and seriously toned up that already-awesome body of hers.

Try the typical squats and lunges, but hold some heavy weights while doing so (I'm worked my way up to 25-pound dumbbell in each hand when doing the lower-body workouts).
