hey hey MFP, new grrl here

i'm new to MFP but this isn't my first weight loss journey. in 2008, while unemployed, i lost close to 35 pounds and my thinnest was 127. i spent my days exercising and never eating lunch out, etc. hard to say but being unemployed at that time really changed my life- healthwise- for the better. i didn't even realize that my 5 ft frame had ballooned up to 160 prior to this. scary!

fast forward to 2011, working steadily, and the scale has creeped back up again to 143. i think time has been my biggest enemy- i need to make the time to make better food choices and stick to my gym schedule-- no excuses.

my new motivation is being a bridesmaid for a july wedding where i have to walk down the aisle (in a dress i'd never pick) of st patrick's cathedral in nyc in front of 350 people- talk about nerve-wracking!

so i'm hoping MFP will keep me in line with my goals. i want to fit back into my skinny jeans & be the sassiest bridesmaid :)
