Combat cardio

I had to guess how many calories are burned in the "combat cardio" class I took today.
It's definitely cardiovascular -- we are always moving and I breathe and perspire a great deal. We punch and kick in a martial arts type style but I have no clue how many calories I am burning. Anyone familiar with this ?
clueless

My guess is 500. I've done a class like that a couple times and the instructor seemed to think 500 was accurate. Love those classes!0

the only way to get an accurate count is to use a heart rate monitor0

If you don't have an HRM maybe log it as kickboxing or tae bo (depending on the intensity)?0
