2 pounds lean ground turkey
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried sage leaves ( I used ground sage)
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Crumble turkey into a large bowl. Add salt, sage, pepper, ginger and cayenne. Shape into sixteen 2-1/2 inch patties.

In a large skillet, cook patties over medium heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until meat is no longer pink.

Yield: 16 patties

Nutritional Facts: 2 patties equals 85 calories, 5g fat (1 g saturated fat) 45 mg choleserol, 275mg sodium, trace carbohydrate, trace fiber, 10g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 2 very lean meat, 1/2 fat.

I think the facts are for the 99/1 percent lean turkey. I used the 97/3 which is more calories. I ended up with 20 patties, which lower the calories per pattie. I tried the Biggest Looser sausage but like this one so much better. Enjoy
