Really... I'm always over according to MFP but I don't think I'm getting enough. I hope this doesn't offend anyone but ever since I started my diet almost 3 months ago i'm not too regular and I don't really understand why?0

A reduction of fat in the diet seems to reduce regularity. Not that I'm advocating eating more of it :ohwell:0

b4 bed try two table spoons of ground flex seed in a glass of water the next morning you will be going, try this for about a week and you will notice the different. If not Try drinking at least three glasses of water at room temperture first thing in the morning and I garanteen you will be going within 5 minutes0

If you quickly ramp up your fiber, you can have a lot of discomfort with gas and constipation.
I hear you on the regularity thing. I've personally solved it myself through a few things:
1. Drinking more water. The more fiber you eat, the more water you need to drink generally. I had just been drinkng around 64 oz of water, but ever since I heard I should be drinking half of my weight in water, I have had less issues.
2. Distinguishing between soluble fibers and insoluble fibers. Soluble fibers are stuff that becomes a gel-like substance when mixed with water and are digested very slowly (making you feel fuller longer!). Insoluble fibers are basically just "bulk" for your poo and move right through your body almost untouched. I noticed I was eating mostly soluble fibers and not enough insoluble which helps keep you regular.
3. The fiber goals on MFP are too low. A man age 50 or younger should be eating 38 grams of fiber per day. I was eating 15-20 per day and thinking I was doing OK. I'm not going to lie, it is hard to get all that fiber in. It takes a concerted effort. But, the results have been great.

I drink a good 8 to 9 cups of water a day and 2-3 cups of green or white tea.
I think I'm gonna try the flax seed in the mornings...0
