Body Fat % and BMI is telling me 2 different things.

I recently had my body fat % done and found out that I am in the healthy range but my BMI stills says overweight.
I still have 20-25 lbs I want to lose.
Is it common for these numbers to tell you different things? What numbers matter the most as far as my health?

Yes, it's common for the two not to coincide. If your body fat % says you're in a healthy range then you should be fine. Your BMI might say you're overweight because you have a lot of muscle, which the BMI doesn't account for. For example, if a guy weighs 230 pounds his BMI might say he's overweight but the guy could be a bodybuilder with tons of muscle and no fat. So the BMI isn't always an accurate indicator of your overall health.0
