i'm on my own for two weeks(roommates when on vacation), and am trying to plan dinners and lunches. . .anyone got any ideas for an easy teriyaki chicken dish? i don't like a lot of 'odd' things in my food, and am not big on most cooked veggies(raw is another story). So, throw out your suggestions :)

  • I've been doing tons of chicken lately and play with marinades...but as a seasoning, so to say. Most dry marinades ask you to add oil, right? Well, I've been broiling the chicken with the dry marinade sprinkled on it. Delicious...and no oil. I've used teriyaki, hawaiian, ect..and so far it's all good. As for veggies...Mrs. Dash. She's a smart woman, that one!
  • I don't have a teriyaki chicken recipe, but I have used the Kraft light Asian Toasted Seaseme to marinate chicken and it so good!

I like to cook it with Teriyaki sauce, Lime Juice and fresh garlic, then cook it in a pan with red potatoes, and vegetables, and black beans then eat it in a wheat tortilla. You don't like veggies, so I don't know if you'll like the ones I use, but I use cauliflower, Brocolli, zuchinni, red, yellow and orange peppers.
