I have halibut in the freezer and want to make something a little spicy sauce with it. Any ideas?

get a cajun rub. Thaw out the fish and use the rub, I love a good rub
on my white fish. Then throw it on the broiler for about 7 minutes or so
with a little lemon juice, some italian seasonings and some low carb
bread crumbs sprinkled on top. Yum!

What man doesn't love a good rub on his "white fish"
  • Ok now that I got that inappropriate joke off my chest...sorry Banks :flowerforyou:

another great way to do Halibut is from the Looneyspoons or Crazy Plates cook book..sorry I am in packing mode so don't have it with me.

It is called "Just for the Halibut" and basically you saute green onion, zucchini and cherry tomatoes in a fry pan with garlic and olive oil.

THen, place it overtop of raw fish in baking dish and top with feta and black pepper. Cook at 350 for ? (sorry can't remember)

    Yummy!!
